ETD Worx (Pty) Ltd provides a range of educational training consulting services. It's located in the Ekurhuleni district of Gauteng Province and was established in May 2017. ETD Worx's goal is to support the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS IV), as outlined in the White Paper for Post-school Education and Training published by DHET in January 2014. This strategy aims to improve the post-school sector, and ETD Worx aims to contribute to this mission.

The National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS III), which had a five-year lifespan, ended in 2016 after which SETAs have moved away from the 5-year renewable life-spans. Given this development, ETD Worx recognizes the continued importance of Education and Training interventions and how they can improve business performance, profit, and staff morale, irrespective of the transitional wave. Therefore, it seeks to facilitate and support education and training-related interventions overseen by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO) on all qualifications registered on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-framework (OQSF).

ETD Worx aims to use joint ventures to support and coordinate all education and training initiatives as per the current and future learning program and funding regimes. This will be achieved by working with a wide range of other private and public partners to respond globally to unique skills required in the 21st century and beyond. The extent of technical support rendered by ETD Worx will be through an examination of desired education and training activities, organizational needs, and other priorities, including transactional costs, funding accessibility, coordination mechanisms such as Joint ventures with SETAs, DHET, QCTO, and other relevant partners/stakeholders. These will be designed to enhance any educational training and developmental intervention on a skills program, full qualification, part qualification, awards, learnerships, internships, apprenticeships, and the achievement of the statement of results.
